This service is available to people aged 16 years and over. It involves a clinical assessment using a semi-structured interview usually lasting around 2 hours. Additional information is gathered through completion of questionnaire measures. If possible and agreed with the client, further information will be gathered from a family member. This could be a parent sibling or partner.
Following the assessment an appointment is arranged to discuss the outcome of the assessment. Finally, a report is provided detailing the outcome of the assessment. The report may include recommendations for reasonable educational and workplace adjustments.
